LOUISIANA APPROVED FORMS UCC-1F, UCC-3F, UCC-1 FINANCING STATEMENT AND UCC-3 AMENDMENT FORMS

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Beginning on July 1, 2013, the state of Louisiana will be using the new national UCC-1, UCC-1AD, UCC-1AP, UCC-3, UCC-3AD and UCC-3AP forms to reflect the changes in Revised Article 9. There will be a 30 day grace period in which the UCC forms, currently in use, will still be accepted as standard forms. On August 1, 2013, the UCC forms currently in use will be considered to be non-standard forms, and the non-standard filing fee will be charged for their use in making UCC filings. If you have any questions or concerns about this change, please call the Secretary of State’s UCC Department at 225.925.4701.
