qualifying for office

All candidates qualify for office by timely filing a fillable Notice of Candidacy Qualifying Form (PDF) with the appropriate qualifying official, except for presidential nominee candidates (PDF).

This qualifying form is the official form approved by the attorney general and provided by the secretary of state. It is subject to frequent change by the Legislature. The revision date is in the bottom right corner of the document. The latest approved form is dated 12/2012. DO NOT use an older form.
