HOW TO FILE

Non-Resident Attorney Ex Officio Status (As per La.R.S. 35:412)

1. Application for Non-Resident Ex officio.
2. Oath of Office, properly executed.
3. Certificate of good standing from the Louisiana Supreme Court issued within the past 30 days.
4. Official Signature page.
   
5. Notary bond in the amount of $10,000 approved by the parish Clerk of Court.
   
   OR
   
   Original Errors and Omissions policy in the amount of $10,000.

    6.  $35 filing fee.


Completed documents should be mailed to the Secretary of State's office for filing.  Applicants must apply separately for each parish in which he/she maintains an office.
