REGISTER MANAGED SERVICE/MANAGED SECURITY SERVICE PROVIDERS

Act 117 of the 2020 Regular Louisiana Legislative Session enacted R.S. 51:2111 through 2116 which requires entities that manage a public body’s information technology infrastructure or end-user systems; or provide a managed security service for a public body register with the Secretary of State.
 
Beginning February 1, 2020, the Managed Service/Managed Service Provider Registration form must be filed with this office and biennially thereafter. The biennial renewal must be filed at least ninety days prior to the expiration of the registration. 
 
Changes to the registration can be made by filing an amended registration, accompanied by supporting documentation (amendments to the Articles of Incorporation, Articles of Organization, Articles of Association or Partnership Agreement), with our office within 60 days of the effective date of the change.
